Anne Ferguson-Howe

Anne's comedy carreer began in May 2007 when she was persuaded to give it a go at Stones Corner open Mic' night. Within weeks Anne was asked to perform at Jupitors Casino on the Gold Coast.
 

Since then Anne and her trademark pearls have graced the stages of all the comedy clubs in and around Brisbane.  she is now a regular fixture on the comedy club circuit around australia.
 

Her constant need for attention is assuaged by the roar of an audience as they either adore or abhore her particluar brand of humour, and, as she is a very sick woman, (Anne is riddled with ADHD) she finds comedy an ideal outlet for her raucous, bawdy and loud sense of humour.

Anne has never doubted that comedy was her forte, and this belief was confirmed when in the 2008 Triple J Raw Comedy Qld final she was placed 4th. She then went on to be the first female to win the Grand Final of the prestigious Green Faces Comedy Award of 2009.

Her pearls are her way of expressing her ladylike ways, and is sick of the quiet girls getting all the respect whilst the more vociferous are vilified for telling it how it is.
